Knowing what we know now, I doubt we’d have ever taken our boat down the coast. There was a reason why everyone else was on a sailboat, or if not, a much larger powerboat.

Through sheer ignorance, determination, and the guidance of others, we hopped from port to port, licking our wounds each time. We made more than 30 stops from Victoria to La Paz, with every leg of the trip offering its own quirks and challenges. Along the way, we made both friends and memories to last a lifetime.

This is the story of two amateur sailors, one tough boat, and an amazing adventure.

Mark was born and raised in Montreal and grew up in Brossard, Quebec, while Eden was and still is a Vancouver Island girl, from Parksville, British Columbia.

Mark & Eden currently reside in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
